info
Depending on your needs, the explanations stated below are subject to change during the session. If you would like only your back worked on, in a hour-and-a-half session, with your low back, shoulders and neck being the focus area, we can certainly adjust the session. This way we can skip areas you feel you do not need therapy and spend more time on those that do.
However, it is recommended that at least skimming all areas should be included in a session to find other problem areas, which might cause referred pain.
Every massage therapy session is different (depending on each individual basis) with every client’s needs. The techniques seldom change, but are often very effective.
If you need Trigger Point massage done, there is no extra charge for the service.
All services include calming music, clean sheets, a scented aroma-therapy candle & a bottle of water. 1.0-hour or longer services also include hot-towel treatments to hands & feet.

What to Expect
During the session, I may palpate for knots that can cause a referred pain pattern. Shooting pain into another part of the body, which may cause you pain throughout the day or on a regular basis. If you wish to get it worked on, that would be considered a Trigger Point massage, which is time consuming. Though to some people, such a session can be very beneficial, feeling extremely relaxed and not experiencing the chronic pain as before. To others, just a good (deep tissue) relaxation will do. Feedback is a very important aspect during the session and will give me the opportunity to apply the necessary techniques suited for your needs.
Please feel free to contact me about any questions you may have about my business or about the massage therapy session... I have worked on numerous clients who have never had a massage before and have heard all types of questions - so do not hesitate and just ask!
